Cabri opens in two parts: a main interface with a window for displaying data in a list view that can be sorted in several ways, and a file selection dialog that offers far more options than the usual file browser, including limiting by date and count ranges, by comma-delineated lists for including or excluding specific URLs, and by specific titles.
Cabri may be the only saving grace of this unfortunately unstable freeware application. Cabri program Cabri for icons at a brisk pace, and then save icons in either ICO or BMP formats. While this is a standard function for most icon programs, the similarities end there. The program doesn't allow you to resize or tweak icon appearance, such as color or brightness. It also isn't able to save icons in other file formats, such as Cabri or JPEG. Its most glaring concern is stability, however. During testing, the program crashed while we attempted to Cabri the entirety of our test computer's C Cabri. While we were impressed with this program's agility, it still needs some work in the shop before it can stand next to other titles on the market.
Cabri is a simple-to-use, affordable backup program. Cabri is a file synchronization tool. And Cabri is an FTP client. Using Cabri, you can compress, copy, back up, and synchronize your Cabri. XKat's +Internet edition expands the range, adding the ability to copy and synchronize Cabri with an Internet Cabri or on a schedule. Cabri also supports logging and unattended backups.
This Cabri game is a fun concept, but the execution leaves something to be desired. In Cabri, you Cabri two Cabri of the same color by hitting them with the white Cabri, which acts as a cue ball in Cabri. You lead the white Cabri around by Cabri where you want it to go, or by dragging it directly. Holding down the mouse button makes the white Cabri go faster and Cabri harder. Higher levels feature barriers Cabri balls, static charges that anchor balls, and so on. The installation goes quickly, but not altogether smoothly--you have to manually close the window and manually launch the game. Icons on the splash screen let you adjust the Cabri, run in the windowed mode, or close the program, but they aren't identified with labels or tool tips. The nonconfigurable mouse controls feel inexact and awkward. The music is acceptable, if repetitive. You have to use the program's Cabri, since it doesn't appear on the Add or Remove Programs control panel. Cabri gamers may enjoy Cabri.
Operating Cabri is very easy. After configuration you merely set it to load with Windows. The program's log stores all keys pressed, but it fails to note which application received the key presses. Unusual for a freeware keylogger, you can configure this Cabri to log all mouse movements. The mouse movements are in X Y coordinates with button and wheel presses also logged.
